Josh Alves has just launched a new all-ages webcomic, Heropotamus, about a girl who gets a superhero hippopotamus for Christmas. There are just a few pages up, but it looks promising. Josh is also the creator of Araknid Kid, a superhero spoof that started on Zuda and then moved to Sugary Serials.
I contributed to Comic Book Resources’ top 100 comics of 2009 conversation, as did a whole lot of other comics-type folks. Check ‘em out for ideas about what to read: 100-76, 75-50, 50-26. Last installment comes after the big ball drops. Also, the whole Robot 6 team pitched in to name our favorite comics of the year.
